Breakaway Roping - Open gate, calf must be roped before entering alley way and the horse must not enter alley way.
Breakaway Roping - Boys 15 years and under as of January 1 of the current season are permitted to enter break a way roping provided they are not entered in tie down roping. Being entered in team roping has no bearing on breakaway entries.
Breakaway Roping & Pole Bending - To follow approved rules from CCA Eastern Board (The points earned in these optional events will only count towards the Dodge Series Finals).
Tie Down Roping - The calf roping shall have an open gate and the calf must be roped before entering the alley and the horse must not enter the alley
Tie Down Roping - Drag Rule is 6 feet. The 6 second rule is waived. The run is complete when the cowboy has remounted, is seated on his horse and the horse is stepped forward 1 step and produces slack in the rope. All other CCA rules apply.
Junior Barrel Racing - will be open to boys and girls 15 years and under as of January 1 of the current season. Boy's points will only count for the Dodge Series Finals, not the Western CCA Finals at the Regina Agribition.
Pole bending - Boys 15 years and under as of January 1 of the current season will be permitted to compete.
All Junior competitors must wear protective helmets in Jr. Barrels and Jr. Bull Riding.
All optional events shall meet the membership requirements as outlined in Section 1 of CCA rules. Fee schedule for optional events shall adhere to Appendix A - Membership Dues from the CCA rules.
The competitor who finishes as year end champion will be invited to compete in the CCA Finals at the Regina Agribition provided they have competed in at least 5 CCA approved rodeos.

Dodge Series Finals Ground Rules:
All "CCA Bylaws and Rodeo Rules" and "Ontario CCA Rodeo Ground Rules" will be adopted to the Dodge Series Finals.
In addition:
1. For Senior Events - the top 7 competitors for each event, plus the #1 competitor of that event from the west will be invited to compete at the Dodge Series Finals. For Junior Events - the top 5 competitors for each event, plus the #1 competitor of that event from the west will be invited to compete at the Dodge Series Finals. It will be left to the producer's discretion to fill all remaining spots to make a complete show.
2. Must compete in 5 Dodge Series Rodeos to qualify for the Dodge Series Finals (Mississauga Championships) and the Toronto Royal Winter Fair.
3. Juniors must upgrade to a Senior membership by August 1st to compete in any adult event at the Dodge Series Finals. Points accrued as a Junior member will count when membership is upgraded to Senior status if membership is upgraded by August 1st.
